Site: Carnegie Library - Main (Derek Yan, Lawrence Suh)

Our chosen site location is the Carnegie Library itself! Experience the history of the Carnegie Library through the music of the "Carnegie Library March," composed in 1898 by Charles Wakefield Cadman, and brought to life once again today!

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh was established in 1890 by steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, who funded the institution out of his own personal philanthropic mission. Carnegie believed that the library was a vital asset to any community, and through his continued charity he went on to establish over 2,500 libraries all around the world. Today, the Carnegie Library and its associated 19 branches see more than 2.9 million visitors every year. Thanks to your continued support, the Carnegie Library will continue to serve the citizens of Pittsburgh as the educational heart of the city.

We are coordinating with the Animation team, adding music and sound effects to their Augmented Reality platform, which will be installed in various locations of interest within the main Oakland branch of the Carnegie Library.
